Desserts and Daffodils campaign: yummy éclairs
In April, we’ll be participating in the “Desserts and Daffodils” campaign to support Canadian Cancer Society-BC/Yukon. The challenge of this campaign is to create yellow desserts and was issued by James Coleridge, Owner and “Gelato Master” of Bella Gelateria. We’re very excited to participate and we chose to do a focus on éclairs for the whole month, and especially the last week leading up to Daffodil Day (April 27). Expect to see “yellow” éclairs flavoured for example with passion fruit, banana and chocolate, lemon and other funky flavours to celebrate spring like strawberry and more… Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to know all about it! 10% of the sales of éclairs will be donated to the Foundation.
We love spring! Sunshine (in between showers), marvelous scents of all the flowers blooming everywhere… We were inspired and created new flavours of macarons like lavender and honey, black sesame and jasmine green tea. We are working on a lemon macaron that will be released some time in April or May. We hope you’ll like them all!
Make it! Vancouver
As every spring for the past 2 years, you’ll be able to find us at the Make it! Vancouver craft fair at the Croatian Cultural Center from April 19 to 21 with over 140 other artisans, crafters and designers. From jewellery to baked goods, clothing and accessories, there will be something for everyone! And there will be mive music and a bar, could it get any better?
