You loved “Macaron Day, March 20”? Then join us in the store on October 3 for a day of celebrating canelés, the season change and support Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – BC/Yukon Region!
Canelés are caramelized custardy cakes flavoured with real rum and vanilla beans. They are one of our specialties with the French macarons and a best-seller in the store and at Farmers’ markets all over the Lower Mainland. Edible Vancouver magazine chose to feature these amazing little cakes in its Autumn issue (with photos of our own canelés!), they are one of the hottest food trend of the year and will without a doubt be a star of the next holidays dinners from Thanksgiving to Christmas.
On October 3, visit the store for a free canelé and a presentation of the seasonal products (with free samples of most of them): Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Soup, Pumpkin Macarons, Sahara, Speculoos, Opéra (which makes a long awaited come-back for the winter)…
There will be a donation box for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (suggested donation: $2).
A quarter of the sales of pumpkin pies and pumpkin macarons from October 3 to 7 and of canelés will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – BC/Yukon Region.
