Lots of exciting things happening at the bakery right now!

First, we are back to fall/winter hours which means we are open longer in the evening but we still open at 9am in the morning:

Monday to Saturday: 9am to 6pm
Sunday: 10am to 4:30pm

We will be open on Remembrance Day from 10am until 4:30pm.
(Closed on stat holiday Mondays)

We are also working on increasing the seating area and washroom accessibility, you should see changes by the end of the year, we will announce it here and on Facebook!

potimarronExciting news coming from the kitchen as well: we got cases of these oh-so-sweet potimarron squashes to go all-out on pumpkin treats for the fall! Thanks to our fellow market vendor Matt of Picked for you (aka the “Garlic Guy”) for growing this beautiful heirloom variety. A slight taste of chestnut, just the right amount of sweetness and lots of flavour!

First we started with making our own syrup to make pumpkin spice lattes from scratch. Then we’re moving on to bake pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving (available by September 27), pumpkin macarons and praliné-pumpkin choux pastries. In October, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, part of the sales of each pumpkin product will be donated to the “Tickled Pink Desserts” campaign.

Pies with whipped cream need to be refrigerated so if you plan on travelling outside of the city with the pie, we recommend ordering without whipped cream.

If you’re not a fan of pumpkins, don’t worry, we have a lot in store for you as well! On top of our usual best sellers (amandine, lemon meringue tarts, charlottes, Paris-Brest…), we started a line of “Seasonal and Chef’s Inspired Desserts”. Because we love to cook with whatever is in season at Farmers’ markets and because our Chefs always want to try new recipes! Visit often to catch these creations, sometimes one-time shots, sometimes prototypes of futures desserts! Let us know which ones you like best and would like us to bake again, we’ll post about it on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so follow us there to know what’s happening in the bakery!

Finally, we’re only in September but we’re already preparing Christmas… This year you can expect four flavours of yule logs and new bite sized confections in little bags perfect for stocking stuffers or cute Paris-branded boxes! More on that later!
