Weddings tips + Update on fall/winter schedule

This week we’d like to share a link to VanCity Bride’s blog where we’re proud to be a featured vendor! We told her what we can do in terms of wedding favours and sweets for a dessert table.
The website is a great resource for brides on a budget or if you don’t have a wedding planner and need some advice on anything from seating charts to choosing your first dance song. Every week Jeannine goes and meet with a vendor in the Lower Mainland so her blog is a great directory of local photographers, wedding planners, cake makers, etc and the interview bit gives the vendor a chance to share his/her values and explain how he/she works.
Even though we got married 3 years ago, we like to follow @vcbride on Twitter and read her articles. Wedding are very special but some tips apply to any event like showers or anniversary. Thank you Jeannine and keep up the good work!

Hard to believe it’s already October, just a stone’s throw away from Thanksgiving and Halloween… Although the chilly autumn nights remind you it’s time to take the sweaters out of the closet and the rain already forced you to put on the gumboots again… We’re working on a pumpkin spice macaron and we’re thrilled that the cranberries are back at the farmers’ market! It’s a fruit we don’t know in France and we don’t use pumpkin in desserts so we need to make some experiments before we find the right recipes but we’re pretty excited to play with new “toys”. We updated the “Find us” page with our schedule at the markets until the end of the year. As usual we’ll announce any new products, flavour, shop opening date on Facebook, Twitter and on this blog.
